The Lord continues to bless us in a growing network of evangelism ministries in the southeastern United States. It has been nearly a year since I first met Bill Adams of Sports Fan Outreach International and Scott Smith of Schoolmaster Ministries, and God has used them greatly to encourage me, teach me, and foster leadership growth in my life. Both of these brothers now co-lead Revival-Southeast.
One of the benefits of being a part of The Speak:Truth Project and Revival-Southeast is the opportunity to build relationships and fellowship with Christians possessing a passion for evangelism, both regionally and nationally. The Potter seems to be doing an incredible work in bringing like-minded evangelists together in the proclamation of the Gospel, and the fellowship that is being built is truly amazing. The bonds being formed among evangelists lend to greater accountability to one another, encouragement, teaching, and numerous opportunities to come alongside one another to preach the Gospel.
One such opportunity is the Revival Southeast April Gathering during the 2012 Dogwood Festival in Atlanta, Georgia April 20-22. The purpose of the weekend is to bring together brothers and sisters in Christ who desire to grow in a fellowship of evangelism, to hear teaching designed to mature the believer as a minister of the Gospel, and to proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ at a major event in Atlanta (the expected attendance for the 2011 Dogwood Festival was 250,000).
The following is the schedule of events for the weekend (Pastors & elders are welcome & encouraged to attend):
