It is hard to believe it’s been one year since our first outreach as an official ministry of evangelism. On March 5, 2011, The Speak:Truth Project embarked on its first evangelism outreach in Uptown Charlotte, and we hope to make this year’s event even more successful. You can see photos and read last year’s report at Project #2: CIAA Tournament.
The 2012 CIAA Tournament is scheduled for February 27-March 3 in Charlotte, NC. 2012 is the 100 year anniversary for the organization, so I predict a larger turnout than the record-breaking attendance of 190,000 in 2011. While the CIAA continues to draw record crowds, most people are not here for the basketball tournament, but for “undoubtedly the most party-filled week in Charlotte.”
We invite you to join us on Saturday, March 3, 2012 for a day of tract distribution, one-to-one witnessing, and open-air preaching. No matter your witnessing experience, we encourage you to come out for fellowship and proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have little street evangelism experience, this will be a fun day for you to observe and learn from seasoned evangelists and participate at your own pace.
This outreach will be an all day event from noon to 9:30pm. You are welcome to come for the entire day or for part of the day.
Depending on the turnout for the outreach, we will have three different ministry locations at Time Warner Cable Arena, the Epicentre, and Trade and Tryon streets.
If you need Gospel tracts for the event, please visit our Store and place your order as soon as possible so we can be sure to have your tracts before the event.
Please contact us if you have never joined us for an outreach before, and visit the facebook event page to RSVP.
The CIAA Tournament will be our first local event in 2012 – we hope you join us!
Please visit our Current Projects page for a list of 2012 outreaches.

That’s Great to Hear Brother. Praise God! I feel like sometimes the efforts I do (passing out tracts) are not as great as others but God sees it as effort either way to reach out & plant seeds and I should have the same responsibility as an evangelist doesn’t matter .
God Bless you Bro

Would I love to spend time with seasoned evangelists! I’ve never seen anyone pass out tracts, street preach, or engage others in one to one coversations with strangers about God. Never. There are a few of us here that watch youtube videos and then try our best with what training that can give us and trust that the Lord will work out the rest.

Hi Anna, praise the Lord you’ve been encouraged! Have you handed out Gospel tracts or engaged strangers? You might find this helpful as well: http://thespeaktruthproject.com/2012/01/31/how-easy-is-it-to-hand-out-gospel-tracts/
