Responding to the Effeminacy of the Culture and Its Tantrums

After reading this article addressing the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommendations for Trumptraumatic stress disorder, I’d like to share my thoughts as to why the children of the Left are in epic meltdown.

It is Leftist ideology, which Scripture identifies as futile thinking (Romans 1:18-25; Ephesians 4:17-19; 1 Peter 4:3-5), that has produced such rational, logical, and emotional imbalances in our land. This “futility of the mind” results in entitlement, tantrums as two year olds, and the riots of radicals and thugs. It is a worldly thinking rooted in darkened, foolish hearts that asserts change requires aggression against their neighbor in the form of looting, vandalism, verbal abuse, psychological and emotional manipulation, physical abuse, and even cold-blooded murder.

While they are attempting to fundamentally change society to conform to godless ideals, they are establishing safe spaces, suppressing free speech, oppressing liberty of conscience, and playing the victim card when they don’t get their way, just like jihadis. In fact, they are the faces of socialist despotism just as CAIR and its apologists are the faces of the Muslim Brotherhood and its political, jihadist ideology.

Our culture is effeminate. It is sissified. We are far from a culture where men love, serve, protect, and provide for their own and the least among us. Rather our men want to be coddled, served, and receive handouts over and above the least and weakest among us. Our women no longer want to carry out their God-given motherly instincts, but sacrifice their children on the altar of self and convenience, and most of the time, their cowardly men are right by their side. Sixty million American children have been slaughtered because we are so selfish and so effeminate, and sadly, many of us in the church have not been willing to get our hands dirty and speak into the culture of death as men who are strong and courageous (though that appears to be changing and I’m hopeful we can actually end legalized abortion in many states in the next 2-4 years). Our culture’s men want to become women, and our women want to become men. Like literally, and they want others to pay for it. Just like the Bible says, they invent ways of doing evil (Romans 1:28-32).

The culture doesn’t need to be pampered or catered to. It needs to be confronted head on with the truth – biblical truth. Otherwise, it will continue to spiral into the black hole of futile thinking and continue to produce adult children who lack critical thinking skills to form rational arguments and who lack understanding in what it means to be men and women made in the image of God. It actually will continue to spiral, but our hope, as God continues to build His kingdom, is that many will be snatched from the fire before it falls from heaven (2 Peter 3:7; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-10).

Our wicked, cowardly, effeminate culture needs its works of darkness exposed, it needs to be warned of the coming wrath of God that will follow this present judgment of God in our land, and it needs to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ that contrite sinners within it will turn from their sin and former way of thinking and turn to Jesus Christ where they can begin thinking clearly about themselves and about God.

If we should have reprieve these next four years as a result of this election, may we be especially bold in the task before us as ambassadors and soldiers of Jesus Christ.
